Supporting the most vulnerable communities and reviving their artisanal spirit, the Colombian Iraca placemats are carefully handcrafted by different artisan communities from around Colombia. Using the same sustainable cultivation techniques for over 200 years, they are made from native Iraca palms. The technique itself is part of their
cultural heritage and is passed on from their indigenous ancestors. Each piece supports the Fair-Trade Policy and guarantees that the artisans get very well compensated for their craft.
