SOPHIA ROUILLARD
After a career in the audio-visual field, Sophia Blanche Rouillard started out as an assistant to world-famous Nathalie Khayat in her studio before becoming a ceramist in her own right.
Sophia loves the intellectual and manual challenges of working with clay and for the past 13 years she has immersed herself in her craft. With a preference for functional pieces, Sophia is also fascinated and intrigued by flowers and nature. She considers the process of working with clay to be a vehicle for he emotions and, in her studio surrounded by her work, she will forget herself for hours as she shapes, turns, molds and fires her pieces.
